This will vary depending on which style winch mount you are going to use with the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521453-5. Specifically if you are looking to install the Mopar style Warn winch on the factory steel bumper you would instead want the Base Plate # RM24VR which uses a different mount. Or if you are also looking to change your bumper for an off-road style with the winch built in and D-Rings that are flat tow compatible you would want to look at the Adapters # RM-035-1... view full answer...
Hey Bob; sorry to hear about what happened, that really stinks. And there is serious risk of damage to your Blue Ox tow bar with impact since it was fully extended and locked in place. I know it's lousy to have to replace something due to an accident that wasn't your fault, but I would very strongly recommend it. So for example a new Blue Ox Avail # BX7420 or Alpha 2 # BX7380.
I have added a link below to our entire selection of base plates for you so you can purchase the one you have... view full answer...

We did have the chance to install this on a 2008 HHR though so I'm attaching that installation video to this page if you'd like to reference... view full answer...

The Brake Buddy supplemental braking systems, like the Classic 3 # HM39494 you were looking at, would all be wired directly to the battery before the disconnect switch. The ring terminal for the Brake Buddy would go on the battery post first, then the battery disconnect switch # RM-766 which would then connect to your factory wiring for the Canyon that was originally on the positive battery post.
Brake Buddy systems also include a charge line to keep the towed vehicle battery charged... view full answer...
